Peanut Oat Bars with Honey Peach Jam

⁵ Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. ⁶ The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; ⁷ the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. ⁸Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. Rom 8


Ingredients:


Bars
1 egg
1 cup honey
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 oz. butter softened (1/2 stick)
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 cup oats

1 recipe of honey peach jam

Directions:
1. mix the egg, honey, peanut butter, and butter
2. stir in the rest of the ingredients
3. spread half of the batter onto an olive oil-sprayed foil-lined pan
4. spread with jam

5. cover the jam with the other half of the batter

6. bake for ~45 minutes at 350 degrees F
