Italian Tomato Pea Pods and Cheesy Brown Rice Noodles





6 Praise be to the LORD,
   for he has heard my cry for mercy.
7 The LORD is my strength and my shield;
   my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
My heart leaps for joy
   and I will give thanks to him in song.
 8 The LORD is the strength of his people,
   a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.

Ingredients:
2 quarts of water
16 oz dry brown rice pasta (or whole wheat pasta)
1 tbsp salt
2 cups chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp Italian herbs (dried)
1 cup milk
1 cup chopped pea pods
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 tsp chilli powder (optional)


Directions:
1. boil the in the water to the al dente stage (~ 7-10 minutes)
2. add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil
3. reduce heat to medium low and let sit for ~ 5 minutes
